Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
These were the words God said to Joshua as he transitioned into the role of leader of the Israelites after Moses died. And these were the words God said to me as I stood on the horizon of a major transition of my own.
The last several months have been nothing short of adventurous. I heard the voice of the Lord calling me to make an interstate move, and well…I said yes! I have learned so much about obedience, courage, and the faithfulness of God. And here’s the thing — it wasn’t until I stepped out in obedience and courage that I saw God’s faithfulness in a new way.
I know that I am not the only one that God has called to a major change. If you are preparing for or in the middle of a transition, I want you to be ready for the new thing God is doing. I want you to know that you can move forward with confidence
For the next several weeks I will share some insights I have gained that I know will help you elevate your expectations and respond in faith. Be sure to tune in. But in the meantime I won’t leave you hanging. I had the opportunity to share some of my transition story with my amazing friend Rachel G. Scott on the Taking the Leap podcast.
