The Mission
God’s first (recorded) words were “Let there be light”. God’s first act was to call for light to appear and for there to be a distinction from the darkness. This was an act of significance not coincidence. I believe that God is still calling for the lights to appear and the call is louder than it’s ever been. He is still calling for a distinction from the darkness. The Light Room is the answer to that call. The Light Room exists to encourage you to walk in distinction.
The Movement
Did you know that nothing travels faster than light? The Light Movement is a group of people who are ready to light the way and be the difference. When you are authentically you, flowing like you’ve been uniquely created to flow, you shine a light that can come from no other place. And you change lives at the speed of light.
The Manifesto
Are you ready to join the Movement and boldly shine your light? A manifesto is the public declaration of one’s position or intentions. Because every bold action should be accompanied by a bold declaration, the The Light Movement Manifesto is my gift to you.

Brandi Morris

My mission in life is to lead women and girls into the full knowledge of the extravagant love the Father has for them. His love is light.
I am deeply motivated to be a light and release the light in others. My mission in life is to lead women and girls into the full knowledge of the extravagant love the Father has for them. I believe our unique identities and experiences are all part of a divine conspiracy to lead us into the purpose we are created for. My path to purpose may not be like yours, and hasn’t always been one that I’ve appreciated in the moment. But I have finally come to realize the beauty in being where God knows I’m supposed to be rather than where I think I should be.
Through blogs, devotionals, and personal stories,The Light Room is a place where you will be inspired to shine bright. And if no one has told you- the world needs the light you have.
Writing, speaking, and teaching is work that I’ve done for as long as I can remember. I have developed and delivered small group curriculums for youth and adults and authored a devotional for the TN Disciples of Christ. Additionally, my corporate career of nearly two decades includes roles spanning instructional design, communications, and facilitation.
My favorite little light is my daughter. She and I share a love for the arts- music, theater, dance, design, and the thrill of getting to places on time (the finest art of all).
